A seasoned figure in pavement consulting, Skip Brown owns Asphalt Consulting Services (ACS). For more than 60 years, Skip has been a leading voice in asphalt binders, hot mix asphalt and pavement construction. He has authored numerous reports, delivered various oral presentations and has been featured in several industry publications, including Pavement Preservation Journal and California Asphalt Magazine.

Peter Sebaaly

Peter Sebaaly, Ph.D. is an esteemed Professor of Civil Engineering and Director of the Western Regional Superpave Center at the University of Nevada, Reno. Dr. Sebaaly’s groundbreaking research on using recycled materials in pavement engineering has led to breakthroughs for the future of sustainable asphalt mixtures.

Bob McGennis

A seasoned expert in the asphalt industry, Bob has dedicated 48 years to advancing asphalt pavement construction and technology. Since 1998, he has served as the Asphalt Technical Manager for HFSinclair Corporation, overseeing quality control, PG binder and asphalt emulsion formulations, raw materials, and technology for the company’s asphalt group. A licensed professional engineer in Arizona, New Mexico, and Texas, Bob holds both Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Civil Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin. His industry leadership includes serving as President of the Association of Asphalt Paving Technologists and being inducted into the Asphalt Institute’s Role of Honor.

Lance Allan

Lance is the working owner at Roy Allan Slurry Seal and Pacific Emulsions, based in Southern California. With more than 20 years of experience in the road maintenance industry, he specializes in slurry seals, microsurfacing and innovative asphalt emulsions.
